At 9:30 p.m., we have been alerted by a ski hiker who was no longer able to go down from the Alois-Günther-Haus on his own due to the bad weather and darkness. Four mountain rescuers from our local team then set out to bring the skier safely down to the valley. The mission was made more difficult by the incoming fog, high wind speeds and snowfall. Once again our rescue squad proved to be an important link in our rescue chain. Around 23:30 the mission was successfully completed.
