Welcome to the local montain rescue team of Mürzzuschlag!

March 8th, 1896 was the key date of the Austrian Montain Rescue. Because of an serious accident on the Rax mountain all members of the mountain clubs decided to build an alpine rescue institution. So called "local sites" has been established, in the same year also the montain rescue team (MRT) of Mürzzuschlag, a member team of the Austrian Montain Rescue. 1906 there were already 173 rescue teams in the Eastern Alps active.
